Dispatcher / hotshot

Driven Transport LLC is looking to hire energetic individuals to join our dispatch team at our Conroe Tx location! We are looking for someone who is patient, has good communication skills (phone, in person and by email), has multi-tasking and problem solving skills. Computer skills are required as well; email, enter/track loads, update our load boards, book loads. Keep all our customers up to speed on what is going on daily.

Experience Requirements Qualifications include:

-UNDERSTAND 40FT HOTSHOT EQUIPMENT

MUST BE A PROFESSIONAL AND NEED LITTLE TO NO TRAINING WITH THE LOADBOARDS:

-ITS TRUCKSTOP

-DAT POWER

Duties:

• Coordinate with our customers and brokers to get work orders
• Set load appointments with customers
• Respond to emails
• Enter loads onto our TMS system
• Update customer load boards
• Dispatch loads with drivers and follow up to make sure drivers are running on time.
• Maintain contact with drivers throughout their shifts and address any routing issues they might have
• Update customers on the status of their deliveries including any delays that occur
• Answer calls from delivery drivers and relay any emergencies they have to the appropriate channels

• Strong computer skills, data entry is part of the job.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in fast paced environment.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with both drivers and customers in a busy working environment..

Schedule: Must be able work 5 days a week

730am to 430pm

The ideal canidate would have:

-At least one year as a freight dispatcher.

-Ex-hotshotter or truck driver

-car sales or negotioation sales background
