Job Summary
Driver Driven Transportation is seeking a detail-oriented Settlement Specialist to join our team. This position will be responsible for paying contract drivers, auditing bill of ladings, and working cross-functionally to verify billable charges to our customers. Ideal candidates should have strong math skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members and drivers to ensure timely and proper completion of settlements
- Review and process driver paperwork including bill of ladings and fuel receipts
- Verify or confirm route pay
- Manage escrow accounts
- Utilize 10 key typing skills for accurate data entry and documentation
- Perform basic math calculations related to driver settlement
- Cut checks and/or wire funds
- Process monthly Per Diem reports
- Driver Orientation for new hires
- Answer phones
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with McLeod software a plus
