The DFC Business Analyst I will support our reporting and analytics platforms while also assisting in our shift to next generation business software solutions. Working as part of a cross-functional development team, Business Analysts have a ground-up impact on our systems, our business, and most importantly, our customers.
The DFC Business Analyst I reports to the DFC Business Systems Supervisor.
Location: Medford, OR (Hybrid), Tigard, OR (Hybrid) or Remote, USA
Compensation Range: $59, 904 - $72,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Apply data analysis and research skills to identify key indicators, test hypotheses and guide actions with respect to the loan transaction life cycle
- Engage with business leaders to understand objectives and continually align work with those objectives to meet the needs of the business
- Analyze and extract relevant information from large amounts of both structured and unstructured data to help automate and optimize key processes and solve problems at their root cause
- Define the business problem and solution approach autonomously with limited guidance
- Generate actionable insights through the development of metrics, dashboards, and deep dive analyses
- Analyze and validate data to ensure high data quality and reliable insights
- Partner with data development teams to improve data assets, quality, metrics, and insights
- Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff
- Allocate resources and maintain cost efficiencies
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent professional experience with a heavy emphasis on data and analytics
- Excellent knowledge of relevant technologies, reporting systems and data analytics.
