TDF Fleet is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Rental Manager to lead our Rentals operations at our Oklahoma City location. What You’ll Do:
Plan and maintain appropriate staffing levels by overseeing onboarding, offboarding, and ensuring the team delivers optimal results for the Rental department in collaboration with Human Resources.
Supervise, lead, and mentor branch employees, ensuring adherence to company culture, brand messaging, policies, and ongoing training to foster growth.
Conduct regular performance reviews for rental employees as part of the company's performance management program to maintain high standards.
Plan and facilitate meetings to communicate process improvements, cultural messaging, and company information to the rental team, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Foster customer relationships by understanding their needs, maximizing sales revenue, and ensuring customers are appropriately qualified before vehicle rental.
Oversee vehicle deliveries, pick-ups, and fleet utilization, ensuring vehicles are maintained and fleet recommendations are made to increase profitability and meet customer needs.
Monitor customer reviews, ensure high service standards, and maintain department reporting processes and standards, protecting the brand’s public image.
Ensure that rental staff are trained to identify potential customer fraud and/or theft, and handle vehicle damage reports and chargebacks appropriately.
Maintain high standards of vehicle presentation, cleanliness, and safety in customer-facing areas and ensure compliance with dress codes, fleet standards, and relevant company policies.
What you'll need:
Grade 12 or equivalent
Experience in retail or business to business sales, marketing and customer service
Supervisory experience
Valid Driver’s License and Driver’s Abstract acceptable to TDFG Driver and Vehicle Safety Program (in order to drive company vehicles)
Due to fiduciary responsibility, pre-hire Criminal Security Clearance and Credit Check is required
Demonstrated planning and time management skills
Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Competent with Microsoft Office applications
Additional qualifications may be required if position is designated as a Commercial Driver
