The Office Manager is the backbone of the local DRMP office, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and providing essential support to staff and visiting professionals. They act as the liason between the local office and DRMP's headquarters and other regional offices. They are the central point of contact for internal and external inquiries and play a key role in maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Your Primary Responsibilities will include
Office Management:- Maintain a professional and organized work environment (including cleanliness, supplies, and equipment)
- Manage general office budget and expenses
- Communicate and coordinate with property manager for building maintenance and repairs, as applicable
- Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment
- Coordinate with IS team and troubleshoot basic technical issues
- Coordinate with vendors for servicing office equipment
- Work with legal and compliance teams to manage risks and ensure that the office operates within established guidelines, including safety, security, and emergency preparation & response
- Manage and maintain regional office filing systems (physical and digital)
- Maintain a professional and organized work environment (including cleanliness, supplies, and equipment)
Administrative Support:- Prepare, manage, and coordinate travel arrangements and expense reports for staff
- Manage staff and conference room schedules and calendars, including scheduling meetings and appointments
- Provide administrative support to professional staff, including document creation, editing, and filing
- Coordinate communication between the local office and corporate headquarters on administrative tasks, distributing information and reports
- Serve as an extension of corporate business services (Marketing, Human Resources, Information Systems, Finance & Accounting) to support needs of the local office
- Act as a point of contact for clients and visitors, handling inquiries and providing logistical support
- Prepare fee proposals/scope of work
- In coordination with Marketing, as applicable, manage staff registrations for civic and industry events
Human Resources:- Assist with onboarding new staff at the regional office
- Plan and organize employee engagement functions for the regional office in conjunction and coordination with corporate-wide programs, budgeted local events, and other regional offices, as applicable
- Oversee basic HR functions in coordination with the regional office
- Client and Visitor Services:
- Serve as the first point of contact for the regional office (phone, email, visitors)
- Manage client inquiries and requests in a professional and courteous manner
- Coordinate client and guest visits and meetings
In addition to these general responsibilities, office managers may also have specific roles and responsibilities related to DRMP's market sectors and individualized support needs of the local office.
