Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

- Operate instruments and data collection systems (total stations, levels, and other measuring devices) to acquire data for various types of surveys.
- Assist or perform processing of field measurements/related data and limited equipment maintenance.
- Maintain supplies for crew vehicles.
- Ability to execute the duties of an entry-to-mid level Field Tech and be capable to substitute for and perform the duties of the Crew Chief when absent.
- High School and/or specialized training from a vocational or technical school.
- Valid driver's license with approved/acceptable driving history required.
- Ability to travel (if needed)
- Ability to carry and lift equipment as needed on the project.
- Ability to cut and/or clear brush while establishing survey lines. (machete use)
- Knowledge of equipment and the ability to set up for various types for different work situations.
- Ability to hold and proficiently use all measuring devices.
