Rate - $50 -$55/hr
Note: Understanding of Tableau Infrastructure is Good to have.
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Business Analyst with strong Tableau expertise to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating data from multiple sources, creating comprehensive reports, and driving strategic insights across the organization. As a key member of our analytics team, you will work closely with cross-departmental managers to standardize data collection processes, design data models, and ensure that business decisions are backed by robust data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
• Data Integration & Reporting:
o Integrate data from various databases and data warehouses to create and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.
o Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data to support centralized data warehousing.
o Develop standardized methods for data collection, validation, and reporting.
• Business Analysis & Insights:
o Collaborate with departmental leaders to understand data requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
o Conduct comprehensive analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic business decisions.
o Chair meetings to discuss organizational data, forecast future trends, and propose actionable insights.
• Tool & System Management:
o Utilize Tableau for data visualization and reporting, ensuring dashboards are both insightful and user-friendly.
o Manage and update JIRA boards to track data projects, tasks, and progress.
o Write SQL scripts for querying databases and generating custom reports.
o Monitor and analyze logs using tools such as Splunk or AppDynamics to ensure data accuracy and system performance.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Skills:
• Tableau Expertise: Proven experience in creating dashboards, visualizations, and reports using Tableau.
• Business Analysis: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
Additional Skills (Plus):
• JIRA Management: Familiarity with managing tasks and projects using JIRA.
• Technical Writing: Ability to produce clear and detailed technical documentation.
• SQL Proficiency: Experience writing SQL scripts for data querying and report generation.
• Log Analysis: Skills in checking logs to troubleshoot issues, with experience in tools like Splunk or AppDynamics.
• BI Tool Proficiency: Experience with additional BI tools and ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
• Microsoft Applications: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Educational Requirements
• Certifications in Tableau, Business Analysis, or Data Analytics are a plus.
