After building success with “The Irritable Bao” in Auburn, Alabama, we’re ready to bring the same energy to Seaside, Florida, and we need a Kitchen Manager to help lead the way.

Position Overview:
The Kitchen Manager will oversee all kitchen operations, from managing staff to ensuring food quality and consistency. You’ll play a crucial role in creating an efficient, organized kitchen environment that delivers high-quality dishes quickly and consistently. You’ll also help with training and developing kitchen staff, promoting growth from within as we expand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage kitchen operations, including staff training, food preparation, and inventory control.
- Ensure that food is prepared according to our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen in line with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure smooth service.
- Help train and develop kitchen staff with opportunities for growth within the company
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served.
- Address customer inquiries or complaints promptly to enhance overall satisfaction.
- Collaborate with management to create cost-effective strategies for kitchen operations.
Requirements
- 3 years of kitchen management experience, ideally in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Passion for cooking and developing a high-quality kitchen team.
- Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining excellent food quality.
- A commitment to long-term growth—our goal is to promote from within as we expand.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Knowledge of food management practices, including inventory control and menu planning.
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and best practices is required.
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or in a supervisory role is advantageous.
