As a podcast producer at Drop The Mic Media MKE, you will ensure our client's voices and messages reach a wider audience. Your main duties will focus on the pre-production and planning of podcasts; recording and filming of episodes; as well as editing, finalizing and posting the media on the appropriate platforms.

Job Description
As a podcast producer at Drop The Mic Media MKE, you will ensure our client's voices and messages reach a wider audience. Your main duties will focus on the pre-production and planning of podcasts; recording and filming of episodes; as well as editing, finalizing and posting the media on the appropriate platforms.
Responsibilities
- Working with hosts to plan episode formats and topics.
- Setting up camera(s), lights, and microphones needed for each episode.
- Ingesting all video footage and audio, making sure it is backed up.
- Editing of podcasts according to client's needs.
- Assuring the podcasts episodes are posted on time on appropriate platforms.
- Effective communication with clients, guests, and your fellow team members.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of and proficiency with DSLR cameras and how to get the most visually appealing content in various circumstances.
- Knowledge of and proficiency with lighting, including lighting talent in front of a green screen.
- Proficiency in post production software, preferably Adobe software, such as Premiere Pro, Audition, and After effects.
- Familiarity with podcasting equipment, such as the Rodecaster Pro 2.
- Familiarity with recording/streaming software, such as OBS and the Black Magic Design ATEM Mini.
- Part-time (On site)
- Your role will report to our production manager, Patrick Cosgrove.
