If you’re looking to finish a 2-year, 4-year, or certificate program and need an internship for the last few credits, here is your opportunity. Drost Landscape is in search of multiple interns across all departments. Spend the summer in beautiful Northern Michigan! We can assist with coordinating housing, offer great hours and a flexible schedule, and an opportunity for hands-on experience with a leader in the industry.
Offered areas of interest:
- Installation – our install teams consist of:
- equipment operators – excavation, hardscape, shoreline work
- plant installation to include annuals, perennials, nursery stock, sod
- masonry – walkways, firepits, outdoor kitchens
- irrigation – install and maintenance
- Tree Service – tree removal, planting, trimming, pruning, and emergency services
- Plant health – our property includes a fully functioning greenhouse and nursery to procure plant material for our install teams, as well as retail sales. Responsible for plant health and care from procurement to installation.
- Garden Care – mulching, pruning, weeding, mowing
- Pool/Spa – diagnose problems and make necessary plumping/equipment repairs on pools, spas, and water features
