Your Tasks :
- Responsible for designing and engineering paint finishing systems; interpret schematics to develop complete system designs; maintain and have input into project schedules; interpret and have design input into mechanical drawings; responsible for the selection of purchased equipment; develop subcontract bid package documentation; responsible for budgets for purchased equipment and engineering labor costs; lead subcontract engineering and design engineers (CAD); responsible for complete hands-on design, analysis, and engineering calculation; attend and / or conduct design reviews; support on-site installation and commissioning crew as required; utilize design engineering calculations, AutoCAD, Visio, SAP, MicroStation, 8Ds, and risk assessment to perform duties; perform site verification and field checking as required; attend customer meetings to understand project requirements; communicate with project team, customers, and suppliers; understand, diagnose, and solve real or potential design problems; function as a technical expert on booths and ovens for paint finishing systems; initiate / maintain standards for booth / oven group; and lead new engineers.
