Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Duties:
- Greet guests and escort them to their tables
- Present menus and provide detailed information about our food and beverage offerings
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Upsell additional items or specials to enhance the dining experience
- Process payments using cash registers or POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Bartender in the food industry is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of OpenTable or similar reservation systems
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Exceptional guest relations skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
