POSITION SUMMARY:
Office Manager who is the professional face and first impression for patients and outside partners.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Patient scheduling in clinic and by phone using Advanced MD software.
Appointment confirmations, fill waitlist for progressive clinic flow
Patient check-in/out, verify insurance, update patient records, collect payments
Maintain Electronic Medical Records (EMR), transactions, appropriate codes in Superbill. Confirm all transactions are accurate, balance collections, and batch the sales by close of business.
Professional phone etiquette, promptly resolve patient, doctor, and pharmacy requests.
Maintain customer service excellence to patients, staff and external partners.
Provide assistance with ongoing patient education.
Maintain office cleanliness and inventory throughout workday.
Maintain positive attitude of cooperation, self-motivation, courtesy, and professionalism.
After completion of administrative duties, employee will cross train to clinical duties

Education:
High School Graduate/GED or higher education
Experience:
2– 4 years of medical experience within the eye care industry preferred
Working as a professional office representative
Competent and experienced with patient and staff interactions in a clinical setting
Physical Demands:
Standing, sitting, and walking frequently throughout the day
An extended period of time working on the computer
Job Types: Full-time with flexible hours
Starting Pay: $16 - $25 per hour, depending on years of experience in a clinical setting. Opportunity for advancement and pay increase in a performance-based job.
