Overview

The Principal Solutions Architect will lead the design and implementation of Enterprise Solution Architecture (ESA) to support business growth and digital transformation. This role involves designing scalable API-based solutions, driving modernization efforts, and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

Principal Solutions Architect (Full time role)

Responsibilities

• Lead Enterprise Solution Architecture modeling and design for scalable API-based solutions.
• Develop multi-year transition blueprints for modernization and transformation.
• Collaborate with business, product, and technology teams early in the product lifecycle.
• Define high-level designs and refine them as development progresses.
• Work with Lean Portfolio Management to establish enterprise solutions and development initiatives.
• Assist Agile Program Management in identifying and designing development value streams.
• Promote Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevSecOps capabilities.
• Facilitate the reuse of code, components, and proven architectural patterns.
• Ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture standards and best practices.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 8 years of hands-on IT design and implementation experience.
• 5 years of experience as a Solutions Architect.
• 3 years of expertise in application development, middleware, database management, security, or integration.
• 2 years of cloud experience (AWS preferred, Azure secondary).
• 2 years of experience working with Agile teams.
• Strong understanding of AWS security best practices and Well-Architected Framework.
• Experience migrating on-premise monolith applications to cloud using refactoring, rearchitecting, and re-platforming approaches.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools, automated deployments, and containerization.
• Excellent communication skills to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• Experience in wealth management and brokerage technology.
• Experience modernizing legacy on-prem applications for the cloud.
• Background in front-end user design and API development.
