Overview

The SAP FICO Lead Analyst is responsible for managing the SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, ensuring their seamless integration within the organization's financial systems. The role involves leading SAP FICO implementations, upgrades, and enhancements while providing expert-level support, configuration, and maintenance.

Position:Contract to Hire

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SAP FICO module implementation, configuration, and support.
• Oversee system upgrades, enhancements, and patches in the SAP FICO module.
• Configure SAP FICO modules, including GL, AP, AR, AA, and CCA.
• Integrate SAP FICO with other SAP modules (MM, SD, HR) for seamless processes.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Develop and implement best practices for financial operations in SAP FICO.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for SAP enhancements.
• Lead SAP FICO projects, managing planning, execution, and delivery.
• Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for SAP FICO issues.
• Train end-users on SAP FICO functionalities and document processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Generate financial reports using SAP FICO tools and maintain data integrity.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field.
• SAP FICO certification preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience with SAP FICO, including full life-cycle implementations.
• Expertise in SAP FICO configuration, customization, and integration.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
• Experience leading SAP projects and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with S/4HANA Finance.
• Knowledge of SAP integration with other ERP modules (MM, SD).
• Familiarity with financial regulatory requirements (SOX, IFRS).
