Overview

The role involves providing production support for web applications on the Microsoft Windows platform, resolving technical issues, and ensuring application stability and reliability.

Position

Full-time onsite production support role for senior-level candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for web applications on the Microsoft Windows platform.
• Develop and manage automation scripts using PowerShell or Python.
• Manage and troubleshoot batch jobs using tools like TWS, Control-M, or Autosys.
• Perform database queries and management on SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
• Troubleshoot and resolve web application issues, including IIS server-related problems.
• Work with ServiceNow or BMC Remedy for ticket management and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address system/network-related issues.
• Maintain high availability and reliability of supported applications, including on-call shifts.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Windows-based web application production support.
• Proficiency in PowerShell or Python scripting for automation.
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL).
• Familiarity with batch job management tools like TWS, Control-M, or Autosys.
• Strong knowledge of IIS server management and basic networking concepts.
• Experience with ServiceNow or BMC Remedy for incident and change management.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts and provide on-call support.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in ITIL or relevant production support tools.
• Exposure to Agile or DevOps environments.
