Job Summary:
We are seeking an Outside Sales Executive to join our expanding DSI Tech team in the Atlanta, GA market. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, existing SLED (State, Local and Education) account customers and strong SLED prospects in the Atlanta area, and excellent presentation skills. This remote position involves both acquiring new clients and nurturing existing accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Sell IT Infrastructure solutions to State, Local, and School of Education (SLED) organizations
- Manage sales efforts targeting customers in Georgia and within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta
- Deliver product information, pricing, and conduct onsite visits to meet client needs
- Prioritize Federal E-Rate opportunities and other SLED-focused accounts
- Partner with Senior Network Engineers to support presales activities
- Develop business relationships and enhance market presence through strategic initiatives
Qualifications:
- 3 years of outside sales experience selling IT solutions, preferably Cisco products or other vendors like NetApp, VMware, Microsoft, HPE, or Crestron
- Proven experience in SLED and commercial sales
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or equivalent experience
- Willingness to travel within the state of Georgia
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong time management, organization, and communication skills
- Decision making and problem-solving abilities
- Results driven and detail-oriented
- Demonstrated credibility in customer and team interactions
