A rapidly growing FoodBev organization is looking for a Director of Procurement to help guide the strategic vision and ensure contracts are in place that support the business. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the Food and Beverage industry, strong leadership skills, and a strategic mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the procurement team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Oversee the sourcing and negotiation of contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Conduct regular evaluations of supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality standards and reliability.
- Maintain a keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance in all procurement activities.
- Analyze market trends and data to make informed purchasing decisions and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to understand their needs and ensure procurement processes meet their requirements.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management and other stakeholders, effectively communicating procurement strategies and results.
- Foster a culture of creative problem-solving within the procurement team to address challenges and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- 10 years of procurement experience in the Food and Beverage industry.
- 5 years of experience in a leadership role, managing and developing teams.
- Strong understanding of contract management and negotiation.
- Highly strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record of creative problem-solving and driving process improvements.
Salary : $175,000 - $215,000
