Position : Senior Rotating Machinery Engineer
Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Rotating Machinery Engineer to lead the design, development, and testing of next-generation superconducting rotating machinery for military and commercial applications. This role involves full design ownership, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and contributions to business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and test advanced rotating machinery for military and commercial use.
- Perform mechanical analysis of electric machines, including structural integrity, fatigue, and modal analysis.
- Conduct static and dynamic modeling of electric machines in both 2D and 3D.
- Oversee design and development of complete rotating machinery systems, including sub-assemblies.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure project success.
- Support business development efforts through product presentations, design and program reviews, and test reporting.
