Senior Inventory Control Manager

About the role:

A consumer products company located about an hour outside of Philadelphia is seeking an experienced Senior Inventory Control Manager. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in inventory management and be able to guide the company through new changes effectively. This role requires a strategic thinker who can analyze and optimize their inventory processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to minimize inventory levels while ensuring no back orders, maintaining a balance between supply and demand.
• Oversee and manage all aspects of the import process, ensuring compliance with regulations and efficient handling of imported goods.
• Identify and execute cost-saving measures in the import process, including optimizing shipping costs, reducing warehouse expenses, and sourcing from alternative suppliers.
• Provide expert guidance and leadership to the inventory control team, driving continuous improvement and adapting to new changes in the industry.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required
• 7 Experience in managing consumer goods, overseeing import operations, and implementing strategies for inventory optimization.
• Experience with managing upward of 2500 skus
• Advanced knowledge of inventory management software and tools (SAP)
• Experience working with global vendors
