Detailed Summary:
DSJ Global is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Director to lead their Rhode Island facility's QA system. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive quality management system (QMS) that ensures customer satisfaction and drives financial success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a robust QMS, including root cause analysis, statistical analysis, metric establishment, and more.
- Lead the overall Quality Assurance program to meet customer needs and expectations
- Manage and provide strategic direction for the Quality Assurance team
- Collaborate with engineering efforts by participating in design development projects representing QA and customer requirements
- Establish product specifications based on customer needs for efficient, cost-effective manufacturing and reproducibility
- Monitor quality performance of vendors and drive improvements through leveraging supplier Quality Engineering
- Foster a quality incident-free culture, promoting supplier quality, metrology, excursion reduction, change control, and management practices
- Interface with customer Quality representatives and suppliers to resolve Quality Control issues and ensure effective corrective actions are taken
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing
- Experience in High Purity Chemical manufacturing
- Strong leadership experience and ability to cultivate a positive work environment
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering preferred
Salary Estimate: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
