Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and support the procurement team in daily operations, ensuring adherence to standards and work instructions.
- Analyze proposals, financial data, and reports to develop sourcing strategies that align with organizational objectives.
- Negotiate contracts and manage purchase orders with vendors to ensure cost-efficiency and ontime delivery.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management, ensuring alignment with departmental and organizational goals.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, including Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering.
- Collaborate with the Planning team to ensure timely procurement and effective inventory management.
- Assess supplier performance, ensuring compliance with agreements and company requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Over 5 years of experience in industrial procurement and sourcing, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Extensive experience in contract negotiation and vendor management.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, such as FDA or ISO standards, in regulated sectors (e.g., medical devices, aerospace, or automotive).
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive team success.
- Ability to travel approximately 20%.
- Obligation to disclose any medications or circumstances that may affect safe job performance.
