Job Overview :
As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, managing supplier relationships, and aligning sourcing strategies with the company's long-term objectives. You will lead efforts in inventory management, strategic negotiations, and forecasting to ensure a seamless supply chain and optimal business performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with business objectives and drive cost savings across multiple categories.
- Lead end-to-end supplier selection processes, from identifying potential suppliers to contract negotiation and performance management.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term supplier relationships to ensure supply continuity and quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., finance, operations, product development) to understand needs and requirements, and align sourcing strategies accordingly.
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and supply chain improvements.
- Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize excess or shortage risks.
- Lead strategy talks with key stakeholders to determine the best sourcing approaches for current and future needs.
- Work on forecasting demand and aligning sourcing strategies accordingly to avoid supply chain disruptions and ensure timely delivery of goods.
