As a Quality Assurance Technician , you are responsible for food defense and food safety. It is the responsibility of the employee to assure that all protocols are adhered to and execute various food safety verification program activities.

Your key responsibilities :
- Review and approve all incoming ingredients and raw materials from vendors based on label claim requirements : including but not limited to religious, organic, allergen or non-GMO compliance.
- Collect and send product samples for 3rd party lab testing.
- Perform plant GMP walkthroughs and report deviations to departments and quality for needed follow-up.
- Provide support for customer complaints follow-up as needed using root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Execute environmental monitoring program per procedure.
- Review and document all test procedures and results for certificate of analysis generation per customer requirements.
