Your Key Responsibilities
- Conduct synthetic organic chemical reactions for the discovery of new fragrance and flavor molecules
- Isolate, purify, and characterize reaction products by NMR, GC-MS, and IR
- Evaluate commercial potential of new molecules by measuring performance in consumer products
- Compile and report data to supervisor, present at group meetings, and contribute to written reports
- Operate and perform basic maintenance of analytical instrumentation (GC, GC-MS)
- Perform housekeeping duties and order supplies to maintain a neat, organized, and well-stocked laboratory
- Collaboration with experts in health, nutrition, and beauty to drive progress
- Responsibility and accountability in living company values and driving sustainable solutions

- Experience performing synthetic organic chemistry experiments and techniques such as chromatography, extractions, and distillations
- Experience operating and maintaining analytical instrumentation such as gas chromatographs and mass spectrometers
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- A commitment to teamwork, fostering collaboration and respecting diverse perspectives
- A spirit of curiosity, embracing new challenges and pioneering innovative solutions that drive positive change
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field with R&D laboratory experience
