Job Description =
Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
l PC and mobile hardware and software support for factory devices including corporate deployed IT assets at the Fargo facilities
l Provide support for PC operating system and security patch updates/deployments for factory floor devices
l Diagnose hardware failures or vulnerabilities and replace failed part, replace PC or coordinator repairs with 3rd party vendor
l Basic understanding of network infrastructure (switches, routers, cabling, architecture understanding)
l Performing basic network and server equipment installation under the direction and support from Client’s infrastructure team.
l Assist with application/software related incidents, problems or vulnerabilities and/or coordinate with the software provider for resolution as needed
l Provide Root Cause Analysis on issues impacting computers on the factory
l floor or site-specific client/server solutions and make necessary corrections or make recommendations to the site on changes to improve/resolve impact
l Assist with supporting Client developed applications including initial troubleshooting
l Assist with ERP and other site-specific account administration as needed
l Assist with non-standard account administration in Active Directory
l Assist with other factory IT projects and initiatives as requested
Typical task breakdown:
l Attending discussions with local business partners, corporate IT, and collaborating with other IT on-site team members to provide status updates and determine next steps.
l Complete installation of site-specific software on desktops and coordinate deployment of assets to the factory floor work centers.
l Trouble shoot network infrastructure or desktop assets at the local facility.
l Work on IT projects for LAN/WAN, desktop, or audio/video improvements.
l Work with a production supervisor or office worker to remediate a client/server technical issue.
Interaction with team:
l 2 other folks on team onsite; worker will be supporting internal customers within Client

Education & Experience Required:
l Minimum requirement is associate’s degree
l Minimum requirement of two to four years professional IT experience.
Technical Skills Required
l 2-4 years professional IT experience in each of the following:
l Desktop PC related hardware/software technology
l Backend infrastructure (server, storage, database, network)
Desired
l ITSM services: Incident, Problem, Vulnerability management, including restoration of service, root cause analysis, and permanent corrective action.
l Administrator level access for desktop assets, LAN/WAN hardware and IT infrastructure software for configuration.
