Welcome to DSST! We're glad to have you! You’ve been directed to this page if you’ve confirmed a placement with one of our Mentor Teachers (i.e., your Mentor Teacher has agreed to host you).  

Click the “Apply” button to be directed to the Pipeline Placement form. The purpose of this form is not evaluative. Please consult with your Mentor Teacher as needed to complete, or reach out to humancapital@scienceandtech.org with any questions. 

  • You will be prompted to enter your Work Experience. You may enter “N/A” in required fields if you do not have work experience. 

  • You will be prompted to enter your Education. You may enter your current GPA, as we understand your degree may be in progress.

Completion of this Pipeline Placement form kicks off DSST's onboarding process. Upon submission, you should receive an email from Workday. Please check your email's junk mail folder if you do not receive it, before emailing humanresources@scienceandtech.org for support.

You must complete ALL onboarding requirements prior to your placement start date to be Approved to Start. 

Note: Scheduling your fingerprinting appointment is time sensitive. This appointment is required to complete your background check. You may have already completed a background check for your college or university. You must also complete this appointment per the directions provided by DSST in Workday, in addition. Please read ALL directions carefully when you receive instructions.

As a Teaching Fellow (Full Year Placement)/Student Teacher (Semester Placement):

  • You’re eligible to receive a DSST laptop and DSST email address for the duration of your placement. You must adequately complete all onboarding requirements. 

  • You’re eligible to receive compensation from DSST for additional classroom coverage or substitute teaching throughout the year, as permissible by your program and if invited by your School Director. The onboarding process will therefore prompt you to provide information to enable payment (e.g., direct deposit form). As a member of our school community, it is highly encouraged that you submit this information during onboarding to enable payment, if needed at a later point in the school year.

DSST Public Schools Overview:

DSST Public Schools (DSST) operates a network of tuition-free, open-enrollment public STEM charter schools. DSST schools operate within the Denver Public Schools (DPS) and Aurora Public Schools (APS) districts. Our schools focus on building a community where students and staff are valued for their unique talents.
