Summary
The Air Export Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the export process for air cargo, including coordination with freight forwarders, airlines, customs brokers, and other service providers. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of airfreight logistics and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the air export process, including preparation of shipping documents, customs clearance, and booking with air carriers
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, airlines, customs brokers, and other service providers to ensure efficient and timely delivery of cargo
- Manage relationships with customers, vendors, and other third-party service providers to ensure the highest level of service and customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and quality of service delivery
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs, improve service quality, and enhance customer satisfaction
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as cargo delivery times, costs, and quality

For this position, the expected base pay is : $78,000.00 - $117,500.00 / Annual. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, geographical location, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
