Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. Duties
- Fabricate custom cabinets and furniture according to specifications and design plans.
- Operate woodworking machinery, including CNC machines, to produce precise components.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of materials as needed.
- Collaborate with designers and clients to ensure that projects meet expectations.
- Conduct construction painting and finishing tasks on completed pieces.
- Execute trim carpentry tasks for installation of cabinets and other fixtures.
- Assist in remodeling projects by providing cabinetry solutions that enhance functionality and aesthetics.
- Participate in flooring installation when required, ensuring seamless integration with cabinetry.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or in a similar woodworking role.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to cabinet making.
- Knowledge of construction estimating for project planning is a plus.
- Experience with concrete forming is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with plastering techniques can be advantageous for certain projects.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for quality craftsmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
