TITLE: Digital Assets Senior Associate
JOB DUTIES: Design and build data processing pipelines to support batch and streaming source systems that write to SQL and NOSQL datastores. Build data pipelines using Python and GCP cloud. Perform data modelling to support data storage. Research and understand different block chain systems regarding how transactions on the block chain are being executed. Design the system integrations to merge into existing product. Build continuous integration and deployment pipelines to deploy the product. Design and create monitoring and alerting mechanism to support the product that is deployed in production. Analyze the cost of the different components of the software running in cloud. Design and propose cost cutting methods to minimize cost. Work with other teams to design the flow of the application to interact with different components of the product. Participate in Agile and scrum methodologies to develop and deliver the software. Participate in training to acquire knowledge on different cutting-edge technologies on GCP to better design the product. Train the team on newly acquired knowledge on any block chain technology. Train Junior Engineers and quality Assurance (testing) on the latest software.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Requires at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or foreign equivalent. Requires two (2) years of software or data analytics engineering experience to include two (2) years: software development with Python; utilizing SQL database; utilizing NoSQL database; developing data processing pipelines; one (1) year: building data pipelines on distributed data processing platforms like hadoop or spark in an on-premise or cloud based environment; continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines; utilizing public Cloud; and writing reusable code components. All hires must submit to a background check. Remote Position.
LOCATION: Jersey City, NJ. Remote Position.
SALARY: $101,566.00 - $168,000.00 per year.
