Project Details
The Work and Asset Management (WAM) program at NiSource is a comprehensive initiative aimed at modernizing and integrating the company's work management and asset management systems. This program is designed to enhance operational efficiencies by reducing time spent on fieldwork, travel, and scheduling. The total expected cost of the WAM program is approximately $314.9 million, with $184.6 million allocated to NIPSCO, a NiSource subsidiary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Needs Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth training needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps and skills development requirements for employees affected by the WAM program.
- Collaborate with project leads, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to determine training priorities and objectives.
- Curriculum Development:
- Design, develop, and update training materials, including e-learning modules, job aids, user guides, and interactive workshops, ensuring alignment with WAM program goals.
- Partner with instructional designers and other team members to create engaging and effective training content.
- Training Delivery:
- Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions for employees, including field workers, schedulers, and office personnel.
- Use a variety of delivery methods to accommodate different learning styles and ensure knowledge transfer.
- Evaluation and Reporting:
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Prepare reports on training outcomes and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Change Management Support:
- Work closely with the Change Management team to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
- Assist in creating communication plans to build awareness and support for the WAM program.
Pay rate: $75-$80hr
