Corporate Controller need to be responsible for the administrative and financial operations of the company. This includes the development of accounting policies and procedures, financial strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.

Duties include:
- Oversee and manage month-end closing activities, develop and optimize accounting processes and managing the corporate general ledger structure
- Collect and prepare financial information, reports and analyses to internal and external stakeholders and authorities, e.g., tax related reporting (direct, indirect), external reporting package
- Ensure correctness of company’s financial situation of financial statements (Income statement, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flows, etc.)
- Manage and control company level reporting, according to legal compliance and accounting manual, guidelines, and requirements.
- Manage and oversees Financial Accounting/AP/Cash Management/Tax in the Finance & Accounting functions
- Maintain operational best practices and ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting
- Monitor Balance Sheet fluctuations, review General Ledger account balances and open items
- Assist in formulating the team’s future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
- Evaluates and advises on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory action.
Requirements:
- The candidate should have a BA in Accounting or Finance, CPA is a must
- 7 - 10 years of progressive accounting experience with a mid-sized company or group of companies ($50-100MM ).
- Experience/Background in systems implementation strongly preferred.
- Hands on ERP Systems Experience.
- Proven leadership skills with outstanding communication Skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel User
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential.
- Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
