Davis Vines is seeking an IT Specialist for our headquarters in Fort Payne, AL
Position Summary :
The IT Specialist will be responsible for daily IT consultation, installation, configuration, and support of operating systems, network configuration, and installation of network hardware and cabling.
Responsibilities will include :
Provide Help Desk support using remote access tools
Install and support IP cameras
Support VOIP phone system over a JIVE PBX system
Supporting the Installation and deployment of computer hardware and related equipment
Install & wire-manage network cables
Interact daily with users in a professional manner
Qualifications :
Ability to multi-task
Windows / MAC Operating System experience
Active Directory
Network experience
MS Office 365 experience
Customer Service oriented
Ability to travel to various sites during the workday (5% - 10%)
Ability to communicate technical information coherently, both verbally and in writing
Physical Demands :
Sitting in a normal seated position for extended periods of time
Reaching by extending hand(s) and arms(s) in any direction
Finger dexterity is required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with hand(s) or arms(s), for example, using a keyboard
Ability to see within normal parameters
Ability to hear within a normal range
Ability to move about
Ability to use a ladder
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Job Type : Full-time
Education :
Associates degree in a related field, or 2 years relevant work experience
Experience :
IT support : 1 year (Preferred)
Windows / MAC Operating System : 1 year (Preferred)
