National Cement Company of Alabama, Inc. is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team. This position will be based primarily at our Ragland, Alabama production facility and will also assist with support of 26 sites in Alabama, 5 in Georgia, 2 in Tennessee and 1 in South Carolina. A successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, strong troubleshooting skills, and an ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently. The position requires extensive communication with personnel at all 34 different locations. This position does require some overnight travel and working in an industrial manufacturing environment as well as offices.
Responsabilities:
First point of contact for Day to Day Helpdesk Supportfor 34 locations.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
Mobile device setup and support.
Setup of new hardware and software.
Repair hardware such as printers and scanners.
Train users.

Skills/Qualifications
Detail oriented
Strong organizational skills
Proficency in Microsoft Windows and Office 365
Sound knowledge of troubleshooting hardware, software and networks
Ability to use basic hand tools
Ability to climb ladders
Ability to lift objects weight up to fifty pounds
Work Enviroment:
This position works primarialy in an industrial manufacturing enviroment. There may be some overnight or day travel, including states outside of Alabama, to company production and distribution locations as necessary. While every effort will be made to insure that travel is planned in advanced, the nature of the work may necessitate unplanned or short-notice travel from time to time.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Associates Degree or higher prefered
Experience in hardware, software and/or network support
FLSA Status:
This position is considered non-exempt for purposes of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and the individual would be eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours in a workweek.
