IT Business Analyst of Banking Systems Manager Expert

Salary: $85,000 - 110,000/Year (* Depends on your experience)

Location: NYC (Hybrid 4 days on-site)　

Work Time: 9:00am-6:00pm

Position Summary:

We are looking for a permanent employee of ours to work as a member of the Transaction Banking Global Product team at a Japanese mega bank.

You’ll play a pivotal role in driving key initiatives related to transaction banking products. Your responsibilities include collaborating with business users and IT to address requirements, provide support, enhance applications, and contribute to projects. Specifically, you’ll be responsible for implementing and analyzing business requirements, policies, and procedures related to end-user banking systems. Additionally, you’ll coordinate with various business lines and management to ensure efficient end-user computing solutions..

• Key Tasks: *

System Upgrade / Process Improvement Projects:

• Summarize and test business requirements for related products.
• Identify areas for efficiency improvement.
• Revise operational procedures to implement necessary process changes.

Production Operation:

• Implement process changes based on business requirements.
• Monitor and report on production system performance and issues.
• Coordinate with the IT department to ensure smooth operation of production systems.

Customer Implementation Support / Inquiry Handling:

• Assist customer support and technical teams in client inquiry handling and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with the sales team to find the right solutions for customer banking payment needs.
• Facilitate registration and troubleshooting for the bank’s internal users.

• Key Responsibilities:*
• Liaison with Sales, Implementation, and System Teams: Enhance service efficiency through comprehensive business analysis.
• Compliance and Legal Communication: Address US regulatory requirements related to production enhancements.
• Head Office Coordination: Collaborate with the Transaction Banking Division, GOPD, SYSD, and other relevant teams on project plans, operations, systems, legal matters, and compliance.

• Requirements:*
• [Must] At least 5 years of experience in one of the following areas: Project management, Team management, and/or Roles related to IT projects (such as IT engineer, infrastructure, or support desk)
• [Must] Analytical Abilities - Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze complex problems.
• [Must] Effective Communication - Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and convey requirements. A team player who can work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• [Preferred] Domain Knowledge of core banking businesses and their market products.
• [Preferred] Technical Competence - Familiarity with IT systems and technologies relevant to banking operations.
• [Must] Language Skills
• Business level in English( Speak, Read, Write )
• Fluent (Native-level) in Japanese ( Speak, Read, Write )
