Back Office Physical Therapy Technician

What is a Back Office Technician?

• A Back Office Technician is an entry-level office role that is responsible for maintaining pleasant and consistent daily operations of the clinic.
• Our Back Office Technicians have excellent communication skills with the patients and other members of staff in regards to the various patient impairments.
• The Back Office Technician multitasks in multiple areas of the clinic every day.

Responsibilities:

A day in the life of a Back Office Technician:

• Greets everyone who enters the clinic in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Schedules new referrals received by the front office staff.
• Coordinates weekly scheduling for current patients.
• Prepares treatment areas for the Certified Staff.
• Cleans and sanitizes work area throughout the day.
• Maintains an open line of communication between patients and staff.
• Maintains an orderly and organized back office workspace.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Some physical work demands.

Qualifications:

What experience do you need?

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong teamwork qualities.
• Strong organizational detail and ability to multi task.
• Efficient time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Professional and cordial phone etiquette .
• A strong level of comfort navigating a computer and ability learn new computer programs.
• Health care experience a plus but not a requirement.
