We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our event team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, equipment, and dining area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food handling guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining product quality.
- Uphold company policies regarding health, safety, and sanitation practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a barista or food service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar cash register systems is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is essential.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
