LDRM team provides crucial operations management and professional records management services to the Department of State under the Visa Support Services Contract.
The Operations Excellence Specialist (OES) plays a vital role in supporting the Change Management team to enhance efficiencies across the Kentucky Consular Center (KCC). This role is essential in ensuring that the KCC operates efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall mission of the Department of State.
The incumbent will analyze data, prepare reports, make recommendations, provide briefings as needed, and help drive performance improvement through measurement, analysis, and continuous process improvement activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Analyze and benchmark specific processes to support improvements
- Identify process efficiencies across the KCC operations
- Analyze system inefficiencies and recommend changes for improvement
- Develop tools that support existing or new processes
- Develop training materials or instructions where required
- Research data and best practices for KCC processes
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
- Prepares reports using Power BI
- Prepares spreadsheets using MS Excel
- Prepares analytical reports and proposals
Must be a United States Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a secret level security clearance.- Must have experience with Microsoft products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Must have experience using Power BI.
- Associate’s degree plus one year of work in similar field
- An additional two years of work experience in a similar field may be substituted for the AA Degree.
Must live within a 90-mile radius of the Williamsburg work location

- Strong command of the English language both verbally and written
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Power BI
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
