Summary: Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize the parts department computer system to manage orders and inventory.
- Communicate with customers on parts status and provide friendly, professional assistance.
- Review body shop estimates to verify accurate part ordering and pricing.
- Pull and fill orders from stock, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Perform weekly bin checks to ensure stock accuracy and notify the parts manager of any discrepancies.
Customer Service Skills:
- Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information as needed.
- Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.
