Site Supervisor

This position is responsible for the following at both the Jasper and Petersburg locations:

• Coordinating daily operations in accordance with Indiana State Licensing Requirements, Paths to Quality rating system, and Head Start Program Performance Standards,
• Supervising education staff,
• Overseeing the completion of required paperwork for volunteers and maintains files,
• Working collaboratively with Education Manager to integrate current theory and best practices into the children’s program, and
• Working directly with members of the management team on program planning and decision-making processes.

Qualified applicants:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Baccalaureate degree in early childhood education or a related field with early education teaching experience.
• Experience in supervision of staff preferred.
• Effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
• Ability to compose reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information.
• Cooperate successfully as a member of a team.
• Possess good organizational skills, with sensitivity to details.
• Have knowledge of computer operations, and possess skills preferably with MS Office.
