The DubSea Fish Sticks are on the hunt for a dynamic, engaging Public Address Announcer to be the voice of the ballpark for the 2025 summer season! This is not your average baseball game, and we’re not looking for your average announcer. We need someone who can bring the energy, connect with fans, and help create an unforgettable atmosphere at The Fryer!
What You’ll Do:
- Be the official voice of the DubSea Fish Sticks at all home games and select special events (29 total dates)
- Announce starting lineups, batters, pitching changes, in-game promotions, and crowd interactions
- Work closely with our on-field entertainment crew and game operations staff to keep the show running smoothly
- Bring personality, energy, and a sense of fun to every game—this is a performance gig as much as an announcing role!
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong, clear, and confident speaking voice
- Ability to read a script and ad-lib with enthusiasm and humor
- Comfort speaking in front of crowds ranging from hundreds to 1,200 fans
- Availability for all 29 event dates from May 18 – August 2, 2025
- Previous announcing or performance experience preferred, but not required
Bonus Points If You:
- Have a background in theatre, broadcasting, or live event entertainment
- Can pronounce tricky baseball names without breaking a sweat
- Can roll with last-minute changes and think on your feet
