What You’ll Do:
- Fundraising Extraordinaire: Spearhead transformative fundraising efforts, cultivating major gifts, corporate partnerships, and innovative campaigns to ensure DRHS’s financial sustainability.
- Operational Visionary: Oversee the big picture, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly while building a strategic roadmap for long-term impact.
- Inspirational Leader: Motivate and empower an incredible team of staff and volunteers, fostering a positive, inclusive, and mission-driven work culture.
- Community Advocate: Build and maintain meaningful relationships with donors, community partners, and stakeholders while championing the DRHS mission at every turn.
Who You Are:
- A seasoned professional with at least 5 years of management experience and a proven track record in fundraising and budget oversight.
- A creative problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and inspires those around you.
- A compassionate advocate with an authentic passion and experience in animal welfare.
- Bonus points for experience in animal care, non-profit management, or a Certified Animal Welfare Administrator (CAWA) certification.
