Key Responsibilities
- Build Connections: Develop and nurture relationships with alumni and friends locally, regionally, and nationally to enhance engagement and support.
- Strategic Planning: Work closely with the Vice President for Institutional Advancement to create and implement effective fundraising plans that align with our goals.
- Budget Management: Oversee the annual fund's budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
- Engagement Strategies: Design and implement solicitation and engagement strategies, including direct mail, email outreach, and online giving campaigns like Giving Tuesday and Clarke Day.
- Donor Relations: Manage a diverse portfolio of donor prospects, focusing on cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding support through digital communication.
- Targeted Programs: Lead initiatives targeting specific groups such as young alumni, students, parents, and businesses, ensuring personalized engagement and fundraising approaches.
- Event Planning: Collaborate with partners to plan and execute our annual fundraising events, such as the Golf Classic.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as needed to support the team and organizational goals.
- Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, marketing, sales, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in MS Office and related technology.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Virtuous) is a plus.
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
