Assists Pharmacists and Technicians with clerical work as Supportive Personnel in the retail pharmacy
- Responsibilities: By Utah Pharmacy Practice Act Rule R256-17h-607 and Utah Pharmacy Practice Act Subsection 58-17b102(71)(a), Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, pharmacy supportive personnel may assist in any tasks not related to drug preparation or processing which includes: stock ordering and restocking, cashiering, billing, filing, housekeeping, and delivering pre-filled prescriptions to a patient.
- Performs all duties in compliance with and awareness of restrictions to pharmacy tasks allowed to be performed by pharmacy-supportive personnel according to current laws and rules.
