Dueall is seeking a hands-on Project Accountant to manage job cost tracking, financial reporting, and AIA billing processes for exterior remediation and restoration projects. From scope changes to profitability analysis, you’ll help our finance team bring clarity and precision to every project.

Here’s the work you get to do:
- Job Cost Tracking & Classification: Accurately classify job costs and track financial performance across original scopes and change orders to maintain data clarity and contract compliance.
- AIA Billing & Documentation: Prepare AIA billing documentation, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with contract terms and general accounting standards.
- Project Financial Analysis: Support revenue recognition, WIP schedules, and profitability reviews through timely analysis and collaboration with project and finance teams.
- Subcontractor Compliance Oversight: Ensure subcontractors meet all billing and compliance standards, including COIs, waivers, and proper documentation.
- Month-End Close & Journal Entries: Prepare journal entries, reconcile project-level financials, and contribute to a smooth and accurate month-end close process.
- Reporting & Communication: Deliver reports with accuracy and timeliness, and partner with stakeholders across operations and project teams to support decision-making and problem-solving.
Here’s what makes you a great fit for this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in job costing or project accounting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and intermediate Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Clear, concise communicator with a focus on collaboration and accountability
- Experience in construction accounting or working with AIA documentation
- Proven ability to prioritize, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A positive, adaptable mindset and a genuine desire to help teams succeed
