As the Service Planner & Scheduler, you will serve as a liaison between internal customers and technicians to process Heavy Equipment and Fleet repair requests and ensure work is completed in a timely manner.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the Preventative Maintenance Program which includes:
- Working with internal customers to determine repair needs, scheduling the repair, developing cost estimates, and relaying information on the repair.
- Entering repair details into the maintenance management system (CMMS), preparing repair instructions, logging parts, and including work orders or vendor quotes.
- Scheduling Technicians for each job, monitoring estimated repair time, and ensuring instructions include required safety procedures, PPE, and tools.
- Ensuring repairs are complete and required documentation is included with the work order.
- Serve as a liaison between internal customers who need repairs on their equipment and the technicians who provide repairs.
- Work closely with operations leaders and the equipment division to establish or adjust work orders to meet schedules.
- Coordinate third-party vendor repairs and secure estimates.
- Assist technicians and the parts department in procurement/kitting of parts and delivery status when applicable.
- Foster relationships with internal customers and vendors/suppliers.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experience in the Construction and/or Heavy Equipment Industry preferred.
- Proficiency with a CMMS or scheduling software system is ideal.
- Must be a strong team player, able to work effectively with a variety of people, skills and organizational levels.
- Self-starter with exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
- Strong written and communication skills
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Required Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to stand, sit and move about work sites
- Ability to work with computer equipment and office equipment
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 lbs.
