Responsibilities
Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the company at SMC department level
Strategic focus in developing innovative change management programs and problem solving
Anticipates internal and / or external business challenges; provides advice and technical expertise to other / groups and / or executive management in the area of change management
Provides advice and technical expertise to other groups and / or executive management in the area of change management
Basic / Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree AND eight (8) years minimum required related experience
Preferred Qualifications
10 years of related work experience
Demonstrated strong leadership skills : negotiation, conflict management skills, influencing skills, ability to give and receive positive and constructive feedback
Demonstrated ability to communicate a vision and obtain buy-in
Experience in budgeting and managing staff and contract resources for large scale change
Experience in developing, managing and negotiating rates and contracts with vendors and working with supply chain organizations to effect contracts
Ability to adapt and change as business needs change.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Extensive experience with large-scale and / or enterprise level transformational change
Experience with digital transformation
Experience in agile change management and tools
Experience in budgeting for large scale change
Working Conditions
Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period. However, hybrid employees should live within a reasonable daily commute to a Duke Energy facility
3 days in office; flexible, based on business need
