Job Summary

Students will get the opportunity to assist our Design team on projects and improve their drafting talents and experience while earning a competitive wage.
Essential Functions
- Assists CAD personnel in designing and drawing equipment using AutoCAD in a 3D environment
- Assists in updating CAD standards manual
- Drafts preliminary drawings generated from a brief description of the product
- Assists in revising preliminary drawings as specified by customer to submittal drawings
- Assists in transfers of submittal drawings into final shop drawings
- Provides drawings and renderings of equipment for use in trade shows, guided tours, and literature
Job Qualifications
- Experience: Must be entering or completing final year of studies in a CAD or Engineering Program
- Education: Must be pursuing a CAD/drafting degree/certificate with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Must be familiar with AutoCAD Software; SolidWorks and Revit are a plus
- Equipment: Personal computer, telephone, fax, copier.
- Software: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables), Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point, AutoCAD
