Hospital Business Development Liaison

The Hospital Business Development Liaison develops strong relationships with the hospitals and providers including Discharge Planners, Hospitalists, Physicians, and other key clinical referral sources. The Hospital Business Development Liaison provides education on our skilled nursing centers and what sets us apart.
- Meet with potential patients to ensure safe transition into facility.
- Ensure thorough and timely communication throughout patient's admission, stay and discharge including follow ups.
- Oversee and track educational activities to meet the patient's/caregiver's learning needs.
- Serve as patient advocate.
- Assist nursing staff in communication to physicians, transcription of orders, and documentation as required.

Qualifications:
- Ability to demonstrate excellent clinical, customer service, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience in development of patient/caregiver education
- Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality to maintain HIPAA compliance.
- Case Management and/or Utilization Review experience preferred.
- Post-acute clinical experience preferred.
