Retail Store Sales Associate - Part Time
Duluth Pack sales associates are responsible for representing and selling Duluth Pack products to our customers. Sales associates are also expected to provide customers with a satisfying experience so they will shop again at Duluth Pack.

- Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet Duluth Pack company core values.
- Establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with all levels of staff within the organization.
- Establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with outside suppliers, vendors and customers.
- Any other tasks as assigned from time to time by manager, assistant manager, and/or team lead.
- Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining strong product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service.
- Uphold the integrity of the quality and care that exemplifies the brand of Duluth Pack.
- Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
- Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping responsibilities.
- Maintain store cleanliness standards by daily upkeep including dusting, straightening, and stocking floor displays.
- Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise, monitoring floor stock, and facing displays.
- Complete understanding of item pricing and ticketing procedures.
- Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers.
- Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale by providing excellent customer service.
- Sells and makes recommendations to customers by providing solutions the company offers including relevant information concerning Duluth Pack inventory, knowledgeable usage of Duluth Pack gear and Duluth Pack history.
- Participate and contribute to store development and promotion of Duluth Pack quality and made in the USA standards.
- Maintain contact with all clients in the retail store area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and to prevent theft.
- Aid customers in locating merchandise.
- Communicate customer requests to management.
- Participate in inventory and cycle counts when needed.
- Assist in ringing up sales at registers and/or bagging merchandise.
- Reserve and Issue Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness permits for customers during the permit season (May 1 - September 30) in accordance with National Forest Service cooperator standards.
- Other duties as assigned by the Team Leads or Retail Store Management to meet the needs of the business.
